The "Diversity Charter" in Norway!
Norway is becoming more international and diverse creating vast opportunities for creativity and innovation in the workforce.
At the same time there are key elements with regard to promoting equality and equal opportunities from a legal perspective that were put into place in January 2010 requiring eemployers, public authorities and workplace organizations have a duty to work actively, in a targeted, planned manner to promote equality and prevent discrimination.
Leadership Foundation and the Foundation and Stiftelsen Mangfold i arbeidslivet (MIA) will study the establishment of the Diversity Charter in Norway!

The "Diversity Charter" will be a concrete tool to realizing a well functioning diversity in the workforce. The "Diversity Charter" will assist companies and organizations in putting diversity on the strategic agenda while at the same time ensuring one is within the legal requirements with tools, advice, coaching and best practice sharing on the way.
The "Diversity Charter" will also increase competence and insight into how diversity can be utilized in an effective manner and give a concrete contribution to impacting change in the workplace.
The Diversity Charter exists in Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, and Italy, we are looking forward to create an active engagement for the Diversity Charter also in Norway. Organizations in the private and public sectors are welcome to take part and join.
